Store & Purchases

How we use your purchase data and when we share it: When you make a purchase on our online store, we will use the information that you provide to process your transaction and fulfill your order. Your billing information will be shared with PayPal in order to process your payment. If you purchase a product that requires shipment, then your information will also be shared with USPS, and possibly other carriers for delivery in specific locations. We will not share your information with anyone else for any other reason unless you expressly request it or if it is required that we do so by law.

How long we retain your purchase data: We will store the data in your purchase records indefinitely. 

How to request we erase your data: If you do not wish us to store your purchase data, please email chris@mickeynewbury.com and let us know that you wish us to erase your purchase data. (Transaction data can be erased from our store, but your purchase history will be recorded in our accounting records tax purposes, which cannot be deleted. We also cannot erase transaction data from PayPal, USPS or other order fulfillment partners, so you will need to contact them to request any data removal from their systems.)

 

Cookies

This site uses cookies to track basic user behavior on this website. This data does not personally identify you to us in any way. We use Google Analytics to track the performance and usage of our website. This is in order to see how people are using the site and determine how we can make user experiences better. 

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

If you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

For site editors, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

For site editors: If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

Everyone else: We do not share your data with a third party unless to provide you with services related to order fulfillment or if we are required to by law.

 

How long we retain your data

For site editors: We store the personal information you provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Store Users: We retain your purchase information indefinitely unless you request that we remove it.

Everyone Else: We do not retain any personally identifying information about your visit.

 

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site or have used our store to make a purchase, you can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. Contact chris@mickeynewbury.com to request removal.

 

Where your data is sent

Your basic visit data is shared with Google Analytics for the purpose of site traffic and usage analysis.

Store users: Your data is sent to PayPal for payment processing. If you purchase an item that needs to be shipped, we will share delivery address and name with USPS and possibly other carriers who will handle delivery of your purchase.
