Subject:  A New Year, A New World
Message:  Tonight we renewed our traditional New Years Eve Party, at this time last year I was doing good to sit up, much less stay up until midnight.

With the exception of last year, for the past 25 years we have entertained family and friends to an evening of good music, less than healthy food, various sprits and Jello shots. About fifteen minutes before the New Year we all gather in the front yard where I have placed a small fire pit.
During the course of the evening we each have written items we wish to discard, ie: bad habits, debt, pounds, etc, on small sheets of paper. We burn these papers...sending those items into the void of the universe.

Because I was unable to do this last year, my number of papers were larger than most. Once this is done we all hold hands and sing, "Let There Be Peace On Earth". If the timing is right, we hit the last note at Midnight.

Tonight the timing was perfect...the first time in 25 years we hit it right on the nose. Maybe this was an omen...

George Carlin once said that if we the people would not take care of Mother Earth, Mother Earth would take matters into her own hands. Have the events of the past week made an impression? I hope so. We are trying to bleed the Planet dry at a breakneck pace. Our friends outside of these United States are very aware of the problems this country and our leaders are causing. We must reverse this trend...or Mother will do it for us.

Don't think it can't happen here...

We all must do our part. It's time for a New World in 2005.

Love & Light
