Message: | Tom I think Mickey would have done a great version of 'Streets of London', the Ralph McTell song: their are echoes of 'Cortelia Clark' and 'Heaven Help The Child'. Also many of Cat Stevens songs from 'Teaser and The Firecat' and 'Tea for the Tillerman': I know Mickey liked Cat Stevens' songs and I think their voices have similarities. I could listen to Mickey sing almost anything and enjoy it: I love his songs; he also had one of the greatest voices - his range, his intonation, his passion - in popular recording history! |
