Subject:  Fromholz has left us
Message:  Just heard that Steven Fromholz has died. Wow! Next to Mickey, he has been my favorite songwriter/singer since the early 70's. Had the chance to meet and visit with him a few times, including our Gathering in Austin last June. LL and Suzette and I went to the Camp Street Café in Crockett to see him a few years back. He was a good friend of Mickey's, and always spoke so fondly of Mick when we talked. I'm floored.
