Message:  First of all, sorry it took me so long to get back to you! I know you know the answer LL, or part of it, so this is as much for the rest of the people on the porch as it is you. *wink*

As far as my musical career is concerned, I am at a point where I can safely say I have no clue where it will go. My plan is to cut an album within the next year, release it, and see how it sells. If people recieve it well, and they like what they hear, they'll get another album! And if that one sells, I'll put one out of my dad and I singing together!

I love to sing. And I love to play. By myself... in front of a crowd... with friends in the middle of the night... each one is different, but they're always the same in the fact that I come alive when I let go. I get lost in the moment and it makes everything else a little sweeter. If that fire ever dies, that's when I'll stop singin and playin.

I would love to make some money with my work, but that isn't the purpose as of yet for my writing. If I decide to make singing my career, that's when money becomes more of a driving force. As much as I love to sing, if I am going to do it full time, I'm going to have to think about the money I'm making at some point. Money won't be the reason I write... it will be the reason I market. That make sense? Hope so.

If people don't feel my wriing like I do, and I wind up writing lullabys for my children to sing at family gatherings, I will be as satisfied as I would if I were singing for a sold out house.

So that's where I stand. I have no clue where I'm going... I know where I'd like to go... but I'm not willing to sell my soul if that's what it takes to get there. We'll just have to see....... *grin*
