||Haven't been around the porch in a while, I know, but I also know that there are those of you who believe in the power of prayer. Please pray for my mom and our family. We got the word last Thursday that she has Stage IV liver cancer. It was devastating news, I guess, because she looks good, she isn't sick, and she seems normal except for having lost a few pounds, and not much energy. She is 94, and has opted for no biopsy, no chemo, and no radiation. She is eating, and still driving her Lincoln Town Car. I would hate to be the one to tell her to stop. She will know. If the state of Florida lets us drive when we are 94 .. what can I say? Needless to say, I love her dearly. And, I know we are blessed to have had her for so long. But, she ain't gone yet, and we aren't promised tomorrow, none of us. I won't be posting this on Facebook because of my daughter's request not to do so. So, thank you, my dear friends, for your prayers. And, I pray that you are in good health and that you are blessed. Lord, please bless us one and all, and please bless America. IF we stand with Israel, I believe that he will. And, I mean STAND with her, not just sit on the sidelines.
