Subject: | Jeannie Seely tribute |
Message: | Larry's Country Diner on RFD-tv just aired a show featuring Jeannie Seely. She sang several great songs from her new CD & then she said I want to do a Mickey Newbury song. She said they both owned houseboats up on Old Hickory Lake & she enjoyed listening to Mickey sing songs, he was working on, from the back of his houseboat. Wouldn't you have loved to have been there then? She did a beautiful job on "Makes me wonder if I ever said goodbye" ... Michele Voan, Jimmy Capps wife, did a very good job of singing Gatlin's harmony part. Check out her new CD, "Vintage Country", & if you don't regularly watch Larry's Country Diner on RFD-tv ... you are missing great entertainment. Comes on Saturdays at 11:00 PM eastern. Pleasant listening, Steve |
