Message:  Now I have permission to let you know that Tuesday Mamie will undergo triple bypass surgery to repair the valves in her heart. She was going to wait until after the Gathering, but when her doctor told her she was in such good condition and the recovery time for her would be about six weeks.... well no moss grows on Mama. She scheduled the surgery right away. She wants to have a good time at the Gathering, so here we go.

I don't have to tell you practiced porchers what she needs from you. I just need to let you all know that our family is so very grateful for all of the love and support you continuously give.
