||I'm sure that the Chamber of Commerce can supply you with better figures...but having worked in Austin and spending a great deal of time there, I can tell you that the winters are mild and the summers are hot. However, you don't have the humidity that you will find in Houston. The Hill Country is beautiful and the housing market is reasonable. I'm told that the unemployment rate there is below the national average. There are many, many positives and the main negative is traffic, due to work being done all over the city on the freeway system. Great food, super music and wonderful people.
Maybe the Chamber of Commerce needs help.
