Message:  What's the pedigree?   Anybody have specific info on when it was written, did Mickey ever discuss the inspiration for it, how did he rate it when compared to his other songs.

Seems, from album titles, at times he referred to it as I DON'T THINK MUCH ... which of them is official?

Did it chart?

And, generally, I'd greatly welcome any info you can contribute.

Am I correct?   It's a prayer? Prayed the same day as ".. THIS MORNING at dawn, Lord .." Laughing at all the good times ... THEY .. remembered ... and then the wail of sheer anguish.

I'd listened to it for decades, I finally printed the lyrics (beware of those on the internet, there are words missing, other alterations) ... was stunned at what I'd been overlooking.

Thanks.
