I sent this to Al Caldwell. Possibly he will post something here. Actually, this was something that his father used to say. I listen to this radio station most mornings on my drive to work. It is one of the last bastians of pure Americana. Down home radio. Mr. Caldwell is in the Texas Radio Hall of Fame. He truly is one of the greats...I say that sincerely. Not too many like him. He IS KLVI radio...Clear Channel knew better than to mess with the format when they acquired the station a few years ago. That is an entirely different topic.

I have listened to him for many, many years. I am sure that he could give a class on "radio", not unlike Ron Lyons.
