||Just a short note to let everyone know that the rough weather that we had in North Texas last night didn't do any damage to the homes of the Porch People who live in this area.
I haven't heard from Texas Granny. The storm came very close to the area where she lives. I don't have her number here at the house, but I'll give her a call when I get to the office.
It will be one Friday the 13th and we won't forget. Very nasty out there...hail as big as baseballs, at least three twisters touched down, lots of homes damaged, roofs lifted off and two deaths caused by the storms. My oldest son, Trey, couldn't get all of his new pick-up in the garage, and he reported that the back received quite a bit of hail damage, as did his roof. Out here in the country, we missed out on everything except some rain and lots of thunder boomers. The wind chimes on the front porch were sounding off loud and clear. One looks like a twister hit it...don't know if I can ever figure out how to untangle all the chimes.
