Subject:  We Lost A Friend
Message:  One of the most colorful and crazy people I've ever know, Larry Trader passed away Sunday.

Larry was a good friend of Mickey's, the golf pro at Willie's Country Club, a concert promoter and a member of Nelson's extended family.

He grew up on the streets of San Antonio during the great depression and because of that the term "street wize" applied to him in everything that he did. Check your Willie albums and chances are you'll find his name as "producer" or some other contributor.

I worked with Larry on the first 4th of July Picnic, earned his respect when I did the Old Time Rock & Roll Reunion tour in '86, and lost it the first time he saw me hit my driver on the golf course. What little I know about golf he taught me...such as never gamble with him.

He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
