From my growing up in Ventura Co., and in San Fernando, CA, I can remember only a few occasions where it snowed for us. Mostly hail. But it sure made the Tehachapi Mts. of the Los Padres National Forrest (nortnern Ventura Co.) so beautifully white amd majestic. The white ridgeline extending to the mts. behind Santa Barbara.

I miss that.
