| Message: | Hey Mike... I kept track of you and the boat through some of those crazy songwriters that hung around the Florabama. There are so many of us who met and became good friends, thanks to you and the old blue board. It was the "Pool" that led to the birth of Gathering III in Austin...and those of us who were lucky enough to save some of Mickey's posts, have you to thank. Without your efforts, I would have not had the opportunity to meet and make hundreds of wounderful people that I can now call my good friends. Sometimes we look back at work we have done and never have the opportunity to learn how it has effected the lives of others. You, my friend, need to reflect on that. Please find a way to bring your bride to Austin on the last weekend in June for Gathering VII. Allow us, that your efforts brought together, to thank you in person. Now, I know it was not all you...Mickey had a lot to do with it...along with Bob Rosemurgy (who also needs to come to a Gathering) and others. So don't up your hat size, but before you sail away into the sunset thinking that you've waisted some years...come to Austin in the summertime and just look at what you helped start. Love & Light....you've earned it! |
