Message:  I remember it from the 50s. My brother and some friends and myself would leave the "hood" and bypass the pool at Moody Park to go there. We usually had a ride, but I do remember having to walk home once on a Friday evening. That was about 3 miles. About 6 or 7 years ago I had to go to the concrete plant on Bennington off Fulton, and looked for the pool afterwards but couldn't find it. The name "Linder Lake" sticks in my head. If I had to guess, it would be about King @ Helmers. Hopefully it's the same place you have "Sweet Memories" about.
