Message: | From Shoeless Joe, a novel based on what was first a short story called Shoeless Joe Jackson Comes To Iowa, by Bill Kinsella, an American writer who came to live in White Rock, one hour south of where I'm sitting. Of course, they kept that field of dreams, and in real life people did come, not only to sit in the bleachers but to play catch, fathers and sons, and to know the "thrill of the grass." |
