Sylvia tricked me into going to see this "muscial" she called "Phantom of the Opry".
I thought it was 'bout Hank Snow or his hair piece, but it turned out to be really strange, and I don't mean Billy.

There was a lot of gals singing really high and this dude who lived under the stage who did magic tricks and fell in luv with one of those ladies to tried to break glass with her voice. I took it that he had a bad case of acme or somethin' along that line...'cause he wore this white halloween mask all the time. He sung pretty good, but I couldn't understand what he was saying most of the time. I did grasp that he had wrote an opry of his own and he wanted the folks who ran the show to do his thing and when they said that they wouldn't...he cause this big bunch of lights to come crashing down on the stage and then they said that they would. I kept waitin' for Red or Minnie to float in from the wings, but all I got was more of those high singin' ladies.

Anyway, in the end, this fellow with acme was going to string up this other fellow that stole his high singin' luv and she went and kissed him right on the mouth and he had second thoughts. So he cut this other fellow down and then he sat down in this big chair and just disapeared...right in front of everyone's eyes.

But he really didn't 'cause he came back later with everyone who had performed and took a bow.
The crowd stood up and did a lot of clappin', but I was still waitin' on the cloggers and old Hank's hair piece.

Guys...if your lady wants to go to see this Opry when it come to your town...stay home and watch the ballgame...it's not your cup of tea.
