From 1940-1990, BMI copyrights list US (50th Anniversary book) - Beatles "Yesterday" (number 1 on list) is most recorded song with around 2.500 cover.
On 1990 list Jimmy Webb are 4 on list with "By the time I get to Phoenix" + number 27 with "Up, up and away".
"My way" closed as number 100 in 1990 list.
When I her tomorrow look at TOP 100 list I found no Mickey Newbury tunes.
But maybe Mickeys mostly was ASCAP copyrights???
