Val should have been in London, near one of the explosions today, but stayed at home as we had a v large tree chopped down from the rear of our garden......I was working in Kent (about 30 miles from London centre) but I'm normally in and out of the town centre at any one of the locations that had the blasts.

It's a terrible thing to happen, but Londoners are very determined, resilient and calm. I expect most people will go to work tomorrow if transport allows.

I hope Doug will still visit at the end of this month....
