Message:  What a trip!

I have use my friend JIMMY LAYNE WEBB great "new" evergreen "Time flies" recorded by Rosemary Clooney for my headlines for the trip.

I am NOT a writer - mostly all you nice people have say the most about the Gathering 2004.

I love music and I have almost at this moment listning to a Jimmy Webb tune, demo only, titel "Cottenwood Farm" about his Granddaddy - running time over 10 min.

I then think of Egberts song about having to sell the family farm.

I been told that both Jonmark Stone and Marie Rhines have play or record J.W. tunes, funny!

As Mickey, J.W. was/is LABEL - people around remember Mickey`s big hits as with J.W.: "By the time I get to Phoenix" - "Galveston" - "Wichita lineman" - "MacArthur Park" - "Highwayman" and "Up, up and away".

The four great country artist in Mickey/Jimmy Webb
world is Waylon, Johnny, Kris and Willie.
It was nice that Johnny C. on his last recordings sings "Wichita lineman".

They both have many tunes recorded by "black" artist.
As say before J.W. start in the music world for Motown, Jobete music around 1965.

J.W. wrote a tune call "When can brown begin" about black/white.

I still remember the nice word J.W. send me when I have inform him that we have lost Mickey.

I hope I be back someday at the Gathering.

As we say in Denmark sometimes: "There is no pocket in the last suit".

My love TO ALL for some wonderfull days, I NEVER EVER WILL FORGET!

To all behind "the show", Susan W., April, SueAnn + the boys and Larry Larry, my friend Joe Ziemer + this people I have forget!

To Jim for all his car driving.

To all singers, players.
To my "new love" Marie Rhines - sorry girls - she mine.

To family Newbury, Mamie (thanks for the dance), Susan N, Laura, Lea and rest of the family.
Best luck to Laura with the music.

Nice I have the XL t-shirt with me out in Frederiksburg the days after the Gathering - OTHER CAN TELL THE STORY - much fun!
Thanks to the Newbury`s, Marie R., the Dutch people, Jackie for the nice trip "out there".

Take care!
