Message:  Brian,
I have shared this particular 'emotional connection' on this site a long time ago.
I am taking a risk, by repeating myself, knowing that the reality, when it comes to sharing these thoughts, means nothing to anyone else but me.
And so it must be.
Others may nod their head in an affirmative response, but unless the music has touched their heart and soul, they will never be able to understand.
Let me offer you a scenario:
There was once a 21 year old innocent young man, naive' in the experience of life and love.
Full of potential, eager to learn, but rejected over many years by his immediate family.
He had no 'role model' as he approached is teenaged years, no-one to confide in, no-one who he could share his thoughts with as he struggled to find his own identity.
But above all this, he kept something close to his heart, that not many could identify with.

Only those who had had a similar experience of life, could ever understand.
And then, at such a young age, he heard, for the very first time, that wonderful musical introduction of that song.
He didn't realize at the time, just how much of an impact it would have on him.
And it surely did.
43 years later.........that song still resonates to the very core of his heart and soul.
What is the song? I hear you ask.
It doesn't matter to you or anyone else.
It matters not.....really..... that's because, with all due respect, you and others, ...are not me.
Once you define something, confine, describe, analyze, it immediately loses it's impact, it's magic, it's wonder, it's identity.

Listen to the intro: the beautiful music, the voice that fits perfectly to the melody, allow the worries of the world fade into the background, and let yourself be carried away to a world where nothing matters.

Allow the music to take you there.
Allow it to break your heart, slowly, methodically, repeatedly.
Only then, can you begin to understand..........

Thankyou Mickey.
