I am sometimes guilty of forgetting kindnesses I've been shown: the slightest of touches in times of crises letting me know I'm not alone. Many years ago I was seriously injured in a traffic accident: the touch of my wife, Gwyneth, helped me out of a coma and held me close along the road to recovery. Forgotten feelings are immediately unforgotten by our acknowledgement of them: again, Mickey's apparently simple lyric speaks volumes.
