| Message: | The Ring This is a true story that I am about to tell and I remind my hubby of 22 years quite often. We met and it was love at first site. I was single, he was on the verge of devorce. We married 3 months to the day we met. His family put bets on to the lasting of this union. He did not give me a ring until the 5th year of our marriage. (wanted to make sure it would last before putting money on it himself). I wore that ring for 9 days and a friend asked me one day if she could see the ring, so I gave it to her and see looked at it. She looked up and asked what the int stood for? I thought she had lost her mind, she knew my name. I took the ring back and gave it another look myself and low and behold my husband had his exwives name inscribed on my wedding ring. I told her it stood for something I can't say in here, but rest assured he paid dearly that next weekend for that little blooper. Good thing I have a great sense of humor, for 22 years later I still wear that ring, but of course I did have my int put on it. |
